Final Report Information

A major requirement that comes with receiving a restricted Grant from the Carol and Kent H. Landsberg Foundation. Cashing the Grant check is indicating your commitment to use the funds as described in your application and also, submit a final report by August 15 of the following year. This Final Report summarizes and verifies the results your organization obtained by utilizing the funds of the restricted Grant you were awarded exactly as described in the Application.

Final Reports must be scanned and submitted by email to info@thelandsbergfoundation.org.

Include the following:

  1. A cover letter detailing and summarizing how the restricted Grant funds were utilized and the date the project was finished.

  2. Proof of the payments your organization made with restricted Grant funds for the project, such as copies of invoices and canceled checks and/or copies of invoices marked “PAID” or have a zero balance.

  3. Photos and/or other information that indicate the results obtained by the restricted Grant.

  4. In the Subject Line of your email, write “Final Report” and the name of your organization.

The deadline for submission of the Final Report is August 15 of the year following the restricted Grant.

Although August 15 is the deadline for submitting the Final Report, we highly recommend that the Final Report be submitted within a month of completion of the project.

On rare occasions, an organization may find that there is a small balance remaining at the end of the funded project due to such things as high estimates, price changes, or unexpected volunteer assistance. If this happens, send an email to info@thelandsbergfoundation.org requesting permission to re-purpose this small balance for a specific use. In this case, the Final Report would include both the 4 points (above) of the original project and, also, the first 3 points for the re-purpose of funds.

This request for re-purposing needs to be made by July 30 of the year the Final Report is due.
